My cat, Black Forest

Annoying my cats is the way I express my love for them.

I’ll call them for no reason just because I want them to come to me (they thought i’d give them food). I’ll hug them tightly. I’ll rub their cheeks, rub their heads, rub their bellies. I’ll kiss them. I’ll pat their chunky butt for no reason. And of course, i do all of that affectionately.

Why I love doing that? It’s because they’re too cold. They ignore me. It’s like, they don’t care I exist.

Normally, pets are more likely the ones who are annoy and trying to get the owner’s attention, right? But in my case, it’s the opposite. I’m the one who’s trying to get my cats attention.

I mean, how do you feel when there are cute-furry-chunky little creatures chillin in front of you, but they just ignoring or staring at you coldly?

They only come to me and are clingy when they’re hungry :(

That fact is so sad. They really make me their servant and I don’t even mind. I actually volunteered to be their servant and I’d love doing it forever.

I think it’s not just my problem, right? I believe that a lot of cat owners have this problems. Well, i think it’s because cats are known as an independent animals and not as responsive as dogs. That’s why they tend to ignore us.

Quoting from Lee Junho from Extraordinary Attorney Woo, I will define my relationship with my cats as unrequited love. “Cats sometimes make their owners lonely, but they make them just as happy too”.

Yes, they make me feel lonely. But that’s okay, because just having and seeing them is enough to make me happy. And although they keep ignoring me, that’s okay too, because I’ll start annoying them affectionately.
